On the 25 August 2021, Kharazmi University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU) in Iraqi Kurdistan to expand cooperation in scientific fields. Kharazmi University Representatives Dr. Abdullah Hosseini and Dr. Hamza Khastar, held a joint meeting with Dr. Soran Saeed, Vice President for Scientific and Postgraduate Affairs of SPU, and Shirvan Mohammad, Director of International relations. At the end of the meeting, both sides signed MoU on joint scientific and research projects, holding conferences and exchanging professors and students.
